A valid question—but to me, they’re one and the same: chosen helplessness and complicity in the name of power/greed are both signs of weakness.

I’m so disillusioned by the weakness of the power players in the Democratic Party that it took all the way until my brain remembered that she’s dead to dismiss the possibility. Much like anything to do with the other side, the absurd is so real as to feel like I’m living in an edition of The Onion.
