The level of obscurity might depend on who you ask but probably Bokurano.

I feel sad for the young anime nerds. They might never experience watching a terrible fansub of an obscure anime, thinking that the anime is garbage, and finding an official translation years later that reveals that the anime was amazing the whole time.

I haphazardly threw together a Gustopher Star in Kirby Air Riders.

The music in Kirby Air Riders is constantly giving me Diamond is Unbreakable vibes.

I beat Age of Imprisonment. I feel that it's the weakest of the Hyrule Warriors games but it's probably the most accessible to newcomers. Loved the Gorons though. I was primarily playing as them, Zelda, and Calamo towards the end.

A horse and Homer Simpson look alike based off of the "Feels like I'm wearing nothing at all" meme with Homer and Ned Flanders in the Simpsons. The horse is in a tight outfit and shaking around while Homer looks uncomfortable.

Sometimes you just have to find something that sparks the joy of drawing and keep at it. If you're enjoying what you're doing, that's the important part. And you'll improve as you go.

Stuff like this was a big step towards getting regular practice. There were some other people who had tweets that I'd use for ideas but I enjoy these because of how much I'd jump around in trying different things. A lot of these were deleted when I left Twitter so I wanted them all in one place.

I was digging through my old folders and I stumbled upon a lot of stuff I drew based off of random tweets by @lucahjin.bsky.social. When I was getting into the habit of drawing regularly, random tweets were a good way to spark ideas and Lucah sparked a lot of them.

The two primary flavors of old guys in fiction. Chill and extra cranky.

This is how I do it now. I'll usually only have streaming services for a third of the year and cancel them as soon as I've finished the primary things I wanted to watch.

Streaming Service: If you cancel, you'll lose access to all these shows you haven't finished!

Me: Yes. I haven't enjoyed them enough to finish them. That's why I'm cancelling.

I never got used to Yunobo. Same with Sidon and Revali. Their mechanics just never clicked for me.

Which is funny because I loved playing as slate Zelda and Hestu even though they also felt awkward to control.

Personally, I've found it to be the most boring one I've done shiny hunting in. Too much menu navigation and spawn manipulation for my tastes. Back my day we used to blah blah blah blah old man yells at Altaria blah blah blah.

Shiny hunting Pokemon is one of my favorite way to experience the dissonance of how odds and statistics feel and how they actually work.
