People spend a lot of time wondering why the left is worse at using independent media to control the national narrative.

A useful exercise is to ask why the left is also worse at selling snake oil and pyramid schemes, because I think the reasons are basically exactly the same.

If I saw his picture with no context, I would probably think "hey that guy kinda looks like V", I love that kind of strong familial resemblance.

Based on nothing in particular, crack-a-lackin feels like a good economy slang term.

As beloved as they are by fans, they're still a company that needs to draw in new customers on some level. And clearly it's working, they sold out MSG! It seems clear to me that the show creators love what they're doing and that shines though. It's okay if not every season is your cup of tea though.

I assume they've done so many shorter/simpler seasons with guests due to Brennan's paternity leave. It doesn't seem like he fully stopped working for very long, but I'm sure his workload is much lighter than an intrepid heroes season. The next one is IH though, according to the FAQ doc!

It's pretty wild how a Chinese app (that wasn't even in English) was more welcoming and less smarmy to TikTok refugees than fellow Americans who prefer a different app (already filled with people and things that TikTok made big). Maybe the pessimists are right, the left will never get along. 🤷‍♀️
