Tests with 2D story widgets running short animated background sequences for transitions between scenes. I could up the frame count and resolution, just not sure yet how much I will use this.

Added unique music per hex of generated world to add flavor to the locations. Helps me when constructing story etc at each location. Pretty happy with some of the music!

Games moving along. Everything is still procedural. You can place your starting community anywhere on a massive map, and the terrain creates a small surrounding community. My test map is 16,000 hexes, but the only limit is what I can get the processor to handle.

The 2D art/3D models is still the most time-consuming part, actually building the gameplay systems goes pretty fast. With Basketball season about to start, I'll be able to paint 3D model textures while watching the games.

I am working towards being able to take control of the locations, so there's a capture -> earn resources ->build units gameplay loop to start with.
