On the music stand today is new opera "Rosalind", about Rosalind Franklin and the discovery of DNA.
It premieres in April with the London Mozart Players & Helix Music in the chapel of Kings College London, where Franklin made the famous Photograph 51 🧬

The dress I wore for Friday's concert with @operarara.bsky.social was extra special because it belonged to my grandma.
She sang in Luton Girls' Choir as a teenager and would have been so proud that her dress was on stage at the Barbican last week. Here's me backstage and Marjorie 70 years ago ♥️
Still on a high after yesterday's "La Rondine" at the Barbican with @operarara.bsky.social, BBC Symphony Orchestra, BBC Singers and the loveliest cast 🥰 I've had the best time rehearsing and recording with them for the past two weeks!
