I got this book for Mr R. for Christmas and he devoured it in two days. Then he gave it to me—an equally Cold War-obsessed reader—and told me "to get into it NOW."

I'm half way into it and can tell you that this is straight up horror. I've never read non-fiction that was so horrifying.
