I understand that just in the odd way a nation unites when its military criticised, you have to have some ownership of your flag, the line between a patriot and a bigot is much more nuanced than credited. Media control is big here too.

So in summary changes I like are small steps in the right direction, I see changes in a lot of areas that are building foundations to enable proper growth. What I would like to see is much much better communication, much better reasons given when change is slow.

I will also add that doing justice on social media to everything Israel/Gaza is nigh on impossible.

Clampdown on protest, I agree totally with your view. They clearly have this wrong. Though, I would add that protest is chaos and unpredictable things happen that can change the whole narrative both ways.

Trans rights though important should never be this high up any political agenda.

Taxing the wealthiest can only come once you have removed their political influence, you do this by changing donation, lobbying rules first.

EU, if you don't think the process has started, then I give up. Any kind of referendum or straight agreement now would set the country alight and Reform would benefit. Trump, Farage etc would have a field day, facts would be lost in hours. You need to beat Reform first.
