Almost a disaster with no Gvardiol but Semenyo and Salah saved the day!

Very happy with my rank! Ultimately the free hit decision cost me top 10K but I had lots of luck this season. Not bad considering I made many mid-season decisions in hospital on strong drugs.

Nice to claw back some ground after last week's disaster.

Lol. Saved my free hit for a double gameweek that didn't exist. I knew the risk and it felt like an okay decision, as I could field 10 this week without a hit and the potential upside was big. I think I'll use it in 38 so I can manage risk based on how close I am to the top 10K.

It was a good gameweek and then Mateta scored. Very annoying. Nice bench boost though! Two transfers to use and hopefully having my free hit to use in 36 pays off with how the fixtures fall. 🤞

I rolled my one transfer, as I can field 10 next week without a hit. Gambling that GW36 falls nicely for a free hit.

Being on a green with only 5 played, no bench boost and only Murphy, Munoz and Mateta left who are major threats to my rank is pretty big. Long way to go but it's a great start!

Nice to be back in the top 10K after last week's disaster. After finishing 11K last season I would love to still be there at the end of the season. Might put "3 top 11K finishes in the last 4 seasons" in my bio, to trigger people.

A thoroughly enjoyable Match Of The Day challenge, as I was out with colleagues this evening. 59 points and 16K to 9K, reversing a huge chunk of the damage caused by my GW29 wildcard disaster. The boys came good. Palmer to play.

Yeah, it's 8 after transfers, assuming no Dunk and one of Welbeck/Pedro.

This will be my team in gameweek 29 with two free transfers to use. Even if I use both transfers to bring in players who play, that is only ~8 starters and that's if I don't get any injuries between now and then. I feel like I am backed into a free hit corner and I don't like it.
