1. In a stunning new poll released by Fox News, voters prefer the Democratic Party to the Republican Party on transgender issues at a staggering +22 points.

This includes white voters, rural white voters, black voters, protestants, and moms.

The Case For Hope: Transgender Rights Going Into 2026 This last year has been one of the hardest years for transgender people in memory. Somehow, though, I'm feeling hope going into 2026.

2025 has been an incredibly hard year for trans people. And yet... the political project to erase us is failing. In spite of them having so many levers of power, many of us have continued to thrive, and new pathways open up every day to get around the attacks.

My case for hope for 2026.

We will not forget those who voted for criminalizing gender affirming care for minors.

We must kill this in the senate.

Anti-Trans Alaskan State Medical Board Doctor Charged With CSAM, Home Goes Up In Flames Last week Dr. Ryan McDonough was arrested on ten counts of possession of child sexual abuse material. Over the weekend, his family home went up in flames.

1. In Alaska, the right wing govt handpicked doctors to the Medical Board to ban trans youth care.

A month after after, one anti-trans doctor was arrested for child porn.

The day after he was bailed out, his home burned down, with reports suggesting he was found deceased.

What To Know About Marjorie Taylor Greene's Felony National Trans Youth Care Ban, Which Will Receive A House Vote Though the bill stands little chance of becoming law, it will be a major messaging vote for congresspeople on both sides of the aisle.

1. In exchange for her NDAA vote, MTG has announced that her national felony trans youth care ban will go to the floor December 17th.

It is not expected to pass into law due to the U.S. Senate.

Still, it will be a terrible historic moment for anti-trans bills.

26 Senate Democrats Help Pass Military NDAA Containing Trans Sports, Surgery Ban, No Protection For US Troop Deployments The bill passed by a wide margin in the Senate and will be the starting point for negotiations with the House, which contain more severe anti-trans riders.

1. Last night, 26 Senate Dems helped pass a NDAA containing a military trans sports and surgery ban and dropped demands for protections against US troop deployments in the bill.

It is the latest in the national fight over must-pass bills during the shutdown.
