The second best thing he did today was go off injured.

I've had enough. Football is not just about stabilising finances. There's no point in that business model if it results in us having no club to support. I honestly want to cry.

The fact he's 6ft 5 bodes well given how many goals we conceded last season from corners, and set pieces. Nick was a great shop stopper but catching crosses and dominating the box at corners wasn't his best skill set. A better centre back to complimemt what we already have would complete things.

Football is weird.
If anything else brought us as much pain/misery we'd cut it out of our lives for our own mental wellbeing (jobs, relationships, friends etc). But not only do we keep returning to the pain/misery, we actually keep handing over a fortune to be continually miserable.
