The MP for Southport is calling for an urgent review of Axel Rudakubana's sentence, saying it's "unduly lenient" and his community "deserves nothing less" than that the killer spends his whole life behind bars.

But some real anger and disappointment from areas where they have seen the projects pushed back by a decade or more.

MP Mike Amesbury has pleaded guilty to assaulting a man in the street.

The MP for Runcorn and Helsby was suspended from the Labour party in October after CCTV footage emerged showing him punching a man in Frodsham town centre.

Keir Starmer has urged the Conservatives to abandon their "misguided" "wrecking amendment" calling for a national inquiry into the scandal.

Kemi Badenoch warns “No one has joined the dots. No one has the total picture. And it is almost certainly still going on”

The first questions of the first PMQs of the year focus on the grooming gangs scandal amid opposition calls for a full public inquiry.

PM says he's spoken to survivors this morning - "what is needed now is action about what we already know... not the delay of a further inquiry"
