I implemented some dynamic behaviour to stabilize performance. The game checks for the real_fps and reduces some effects to try and increase the framerate (pics just for eyecandy hehe)

It started as an homage to one of my favorite scifi series Stargate SG-1, but toned the references down to the snake statue and general techno-ancient-egyptian theme.

The lighting is just bad I think, there's a lot of lighting techniques I've learned since. It's definitely possible to keep that dark atmosphere but make it visually more identifiable.
