ORCA DRONE LOG 1.55.12 Incident report: Sepharim.  Unit 1729 was acquired voluntarily when Pod H was on stealth patrol route Gamma. He expressed knowing the orca 'gang' they were disguised as were drones and threatened to expose them to the police. The Drones 1728 and 1727 reported they were under the impression he was bluffing, and merely wanted to experience being assimilated. Since Code concluded that both preventing exposure and acquiescing to his desires were literally the same protocol, they decided to assimilate him into the pod.  Unit 1729 discovered a Drone integration chamber in my prototype sector. I have many projects that don't work out. Either it was a poor idea, the experiment failed, or the result was simply too dangerous to try. We've made a point to hide the prototype facilities in the warehouse due to constant and repeat intrusions by the drones and staff looking for, as Verze once put it, 'a good time.'  some of these protypes are flagged for disposal, and a few are unsafe to even do that. In the warehouse we've designated Prototypes in terms of threat level: Level 1: Harmless, but rejected for production due to inefficiency, Impracticality, redundancy, or just plain stupid. (See Prototype Report: Thermium chewing gum) Level 2: Benign, but inconvenient for removal of subject. (See Prototype Report: Rhythm Boots) Level 3: Dangerous or risky for individual subject and extremely difficult to remove. (See Report: Lock Armor) Level 4: Dangerous for facility and staff if released under improper conditions (See Prototype Report: Buckle)  Level 5: International threat, Potential extinction level event if ever exposed to sentient creatures. (See Prototype Report: Incanta wand Simulacrum)  The incident as of note is a level 3 Prototype: Imperius Thermium aerator. The theory was a sample extracted from the mark of imperius could be aerated with thermium for a more subtle, less intense version of the mark branding. Unit 1729 Still reflects personality traits of Sepharim in was that can be... frustrating. Namely his insatiable curiosity. Upon activating the Thermium Aerator, the drone had its original DNA completely obliterated.  He is now fully and completely a drone to the molecular level.  I have a strict idiom about Orca drone service is meant to be a temporary thing. People have the right to take the time to find themselves in this service. learning discipline, respect, and service has always been an important way for a person to find themselves. But what happens when they simply find themselves content to be this way permanently? 1729 has color and accents that will keep him from fully integrating into a pod without being recognized, but he seems okay with that? if anything he seems thrilled about this development.  I'm going to expedite the dismantling of the aerator. but we'll be keeping an eye on 1729's development now that he's fully a synthetic creature.  I really need a vacation.
