SDP, NARRATION: And shit would've ended up ok, instead of like. . .] [PANEL 3: the original dull coloration of the comic returns as the flashback ends. MALPOMENE stands in a way that mirrors her past self in the previous panel, and in glacing away from SDP she looks in the direction of the last panel. instead of having her arms wrapped around the giftbox, they are merely folded. MALPOMENE: jUst give me the present and be on yoUr way.] [PANEL 4: SDP crouches down to place the real version of the giftbox on the ground a few feet away from MALPOMENE. SDP seems upset, while MALPOMENE looks as if she's holding in her emotions. MALPOMENE looks down at her fist with the ring in it, seemingly having a difficult revaluation or struggling to process emotions. SDP is still walking away, but glaces back at her with remorse.] [PANEL 5: the colors of the panel get even duller, now almost completely gray. MALPOMENE has sat down on a nearby rock, her hands on her eyes and her face in complete shadow. SDP is now walking away from MALPOMENE faster, his eyes closed and fists cletched, seeminly more upset.] END DESCRIPTION

#osc posted this comic on my toyhouse so now that i remember it exists and its awesome i wanna post it everywhere.. even if it ends up missing a lot of the context that makes it so good in the first place whoops.
