Yeah I'd read that it wasn't censored because the bbc "doesn't censor tics to avoid stigma." Finding out that there were other tics that didn't make the broadcast but for some reason *that* one did, & that Davidson was under the impression they would be censored, really puts it in a different light.

I urge you to stop what you're doing and watch Alysa Liu's free skate from yesterday. I have never seen anything like this. I understand why sports writers are born now. I have never seen anyone as free from the burdens of this world as this pierced Oakland girl spinning to Donna Summers.

I love it too, they have so many different inspirations and just keep making music that interests them. AFI is one of my truly beloved bands. Even if my own music doesn't sound much like theirs, they're a direct inspiration for me as far as trying new creative things and enjoying the process.
