I still think that storing energy in shallow aquifers will be the answer to affordably heating spaces throughout the year. Just a couple degrees up in the summer, extracted back in the winter.

Worked briefly for a low-temperature geothermal energy company in the late 1980s.

Utilizing groundwater to make HVAC systems more efficient was a great idea…and there is at least one in town utilizing it for that purpose for like 60 years now.

But before the systems could be built…

It now takes two strokes to get to a screen allowing you to select from open tabs…as opposed to one in older iOS.

So very helpful.

Why does every iOS update result in less utility, lesser ease of use and just overall shite changes of “look” over function?

This newest update makes everything harder to see. I don’t want a “liquid look”. I want clear and distinct symbology…Not see through borders.

From a geologic perspective, plovers seem to like to nest in sand, while killdeer seem to like granule to pebble sized particles.
