I wonder sometimes why the Democratic leaders didn't fight harder, push back harder, and I'm wondering if their intent is to give the people exactly what they voted for. Let us stew in the sh*t we've created in the hopes that it will force a collective awakening and a period of real change.

Yes exactly! There are people I can think of that could step up, but they're all playing nice right now. I understand why they are, hoping mid term elections will change things, but I worry about all that is being done now and wonder how much can be undone.

I don't disagree with you. WE need to do something. But without a true leader to rally behind our getting off the couch makes no difference to those in power. We can do little things, but we need to do much bigger things. Get noticed, be heard in numbers too large to ignore. We need a leader!

They assume we're hormonal or overreacting emotionally. They discredit and discount the depression. We are expected to lighten men's load, never add to it. They can tolerate our disease or depression until it affects the quality of their lives, then they expect us to "man up" and get over it.

My experience is that they accept we're depressed but discount the depression as hormonal, absurd, or without merit. We are not allowed to be depressed because our role in men's lives is to please them and keep them happy. They believe we're depressed, they just lack empathy and don't care.

It isn't going to happen. So many don't know, care or believe the truth of what's happening. Those that know are scared of the very real repercussions that spreading the truth will do to them. Look to Fauci - receiver of death threats, federal security recalled, because he tried to help us in crisis

Not gonna happen. They want the money and the ratings. What happens to this country is so far down the list it's practically fine print.

Apparently we're too polite to fight. Too heartbroken to carry on, too tired to keep going. The troops will respond to the rally call of a true leader - just as soon as one presents themselves, as soon as one isn't afraid of becoming target # 1 in this political climate.

STOP waiting for THEM to become US! As a nation we've collectively lost our empathy. We hear about the horrors that happen to "them" but continue our normal lives because it doesn't affect "us". It will. I promise you it will and likely someday soon. Wake up, stand up, fight for them and for us!!

Until THEM becomes US. It seems we, collectively, don't care when something happens to them, but care deeply when something happens to us. Ex: I supported common sense gun reform, but wasn't fully invested until my niece was shot & killed by her boyfriend. Them became us that horrible night.

Maybe someday, women in America will have as many rights as guns do.

Many who speak about DEI being removed from employment are forgetting disabled people in that conversation. It’s not surprising since most forget about us as a whole but this is going to make it so disabled people can barely get hired or receive any accommodations. We’re barely surviving as is.

Thank you for posting this. It's true. My adult Autistic son will be affected on multiple levels by all of this.

I hope he holds his breath while waiting for it...

Jewel, Carrie, Snoop - I feel so betrayed. I loved listening to your music & I believed each one of you were better than this. Snoop, my soft-spoken, tender hearted, gangster - you let me down the most. It feels like I'm saying goodbye to 3 old friends. I hope supporting fascism was worth it.

I used to love Jewel, I can't anymore. She certainly had the freedom to choose and we have the freedom to choose to delete her from our memories. Bad decisions have consequences, and like most people, she'll learn that the hard way.

They are creating an America where only the strongest survive, very Darwin of them. The more ppl that get sick and die the less "burden" they will be for the govt. "Purifying" the populace is straight out of the Nazi playbook.

I'm struggling to forgive and let go of my anger toward the people that knew who Trump was and voted for him anyway because they don't see how any of this will personally affect them. I'm a Christian, I believe in forgiveness and mercy, but Lord I'm falling short, very short.

It is heartbreaking. Some are blindly following their churches direction, they are ignorant of the truth and won't see it until it touches them directly. I don't discuss politics with them. Those that knew better and voted for him anyway I'm angry with & struggling to forgive. It's a daily battle.

And please hold accountable anyone who commits crimes against humanity. Know that while he has supporters, there are so many of us that are angry and horrified, don't paint us all with his orange brush.

Worse, imagine what it must feel like to know that NO ONE wants you in their country. You came out of a nightmarish situation, simply trying to keep your loved ones safe, and no one is willing to help you. My heart breaks for these people! They are human beings in need of mercy and compassion.
