Well, I listen to your podcast and know its not true. But still im ”surprised” that this blows up now. The guy clearly haven’t shown any empathy for anyone afaik. Regardless of gender, race, weight. Every interview i have seen has been him monologuing and never asked anyone else a question.

This solved since a decade in 🇸🇪. You pack your bags while grabbing the groceries in the store and scan them with a scanner.
Then when you pay, you just put the scanner in a rack and pay.

I would consider a Cloudlare worker and deploying just a single js file. I have only done this on my local mashine and it wasnt Laravel, but that doesnt really matter.
Just make the tools do normal fetch-requests.
