It was a good performance, we battled and dug out the win, it was the kind of match that like too many times this season, after taking the lead, we’d sit back and concede two and lose. We kept our focus and concentration, Ibou & VVD were excellent

So I've seen that there are a few people who believe yesterday's performance was not great. From where I'm sitting, it was arguably our best away league performance. We were really good in all phases barring finishing. Very few complaints on that performance.

The conditions were crap, but they were crap for both teams. 😄 We were at a really passionate away ground who tried to low-block us and we kept the ball and kept getting it in their box at least. Yes, Arsenal technically stronger opponents. But Sunderland are no mugs at home. Unbeaten all season. Ridiculously strong there. Additionally, I think we controlled about 80 mins of this match. To do that in any PL away game is remarkable.

They all count. Some are better than others. But I've got no issues with the pass before the goal being the measure of an assist. I think it's ridiculous to try to go deeper than that.
