That was a different bank, more traditional-looking with a digital clock/thermometer on the side. I can't say what it was, but there were two bank kitty-corner from one another.

I've biked by what must have been another branch of the same bank in Golden Valley on Olson Memorial Hwy. I wish people still built unique buildings like that.

The roads I was on were mostly dry.
The roads I was on were reasonably clean for March.
The bike I was on was clean and smooth.
The shape I am in is... debatable.

I'm sure there were good reasons, but I think it's a shame the old 50s or 60s-era circular bank that used to sit on that site was torn down.

Then we got a CVS... that is going to be torn down. How much you want to bet we're going to get another ugly 5-over-1?

Sure.

Soccer is more about spectacle than understanding, for me. I was sad about Hassani, since years ago he came to my kid's neighborhood soccer practice for a meet and greet. I'm sure it was a contract thing, but he seemed genuinely happy to be there. That was enough to make me a fan.

I think we're set on skis. Thomas could use James's skis we last got him. James will probably be pushing 6' or more by next winter, so we'll see about that then.

Or... we could create a walkable and inviting down town, or house people, or feed people, or strengthen social safety nets, or or or...

Remember that time whenwe disagreed with some things about the government, but they didn't kill and kidnap people, and then we'd go cross country skiing?

The last two sets of (thankfully used) XC skis I got for my kids have been used once. Just once! This fact not helped by their continued growth.

I wish I had the ability to read music for voice. That was a pretty song, and it would have been nice to hear it will all four parts.
