I agree. In many ways ahead of his time. A few years ago I saw Dweezil perform Zappa with the Northern Netherlands Orchestra here in the Netherlands. That was absolutely amazing. Organized by Dutch radiomaker Co de Kloet, close friend of the Zappa's.

Exactly. The interesting thing about Zappa is that he went through quite a few different stages musically. Experimental, avant-garde, more commercially (dancing fool etc), humor, jazzy, I mean, there's so much great music to listen to. It never gets boring. 😉

I've been in the hospital twice last week, Wednesday, Friday and now I gotta be there again tomorrow. They do their best to help me with this crap. I keep focusing on getting better and being able to record again. 😉💪

Isn't "let me take you to the beach" on this album? It always puts a smile on my face how Zappa put a great sense of humor into his music. I love that. I've got about 40 (or so) of his albums.
