my family in india has gone thru a tremendous amount of loss and hardship this year. i also planned a pre-wedding celebration next wk — it's meant to be my fiances first trip to meet my family there. tix are nonrefundable.

ok have never posted but emergency: my india visa was rejected bc journalists need j visas even when not traveling for work (i didn't know) and journalists also aren't eligible for emergency visas (again, didn't know)

i'm supposed to leave tomorrow. i'm freaking out. i put in a j visa app yesterday
