Those of you who know my work know that misgendering on death certificates has been a preoccupation of mine for several years now. I have been really concerned to hear that even though we now have specific guidance on the issue, there are some Coroners who have not been following it.

I really think the people who say "anyone can call themselves trans these days" imagine some kind of past where you'd go to the doctor feeling poorly, men in white coats run a battery of tests and then, eventually, the doctor says solemnly "I'm sorry, I'm afraid I have to diagnose you with trans"

Anyway, we live in a world where cis women will do T just for bigger clits, and I'm not accepting excuses from whiny transmascs who have bought into GC fearmongering about the "irreversible damage" of testosterone anymore. Grow up.
