Fantastic weekend on the Isle of Man. Sunny and warm 18°. We made the most of it before the temperature drops this coming week.

Today was a good day for delivering books. Before that though, Connie, the bookshop dog, and I had to climb to the top of the nearest hill in preparation for an afternoon of motoring around the island.
Thank you to all our customers who choose to shop locally.
The view from the bookshop today. Tide's in.

Open today in both Port Erin and Ramsey 11am-4pm
It's a beautiful morning with blue skies and sunshine. Still windy but nothing like yesterday's #StormDarragh thankfully.
A warm welcome awaits inside your cosy local bookshop (also selling art and music supplies).
#stormdarragh When is the lull people are talking about? We've had no lull. It is practically stuck over the Isle of Man. Raging for a constant 19 hours now.

This is like snow day without the fun of the snow. I have never known a storm to be so relentless. It has been battering the Isle of Man since 3am. Our shops are closed in Port Erin on the west coast but open in Ramsey on the east coast.
#stormdarragh #smallbusinessSaturday
We are open Sundays in Ramsey and Port Erin until Christmas, 11am-4pm.
Books in stock at the wholesaler take 2 working days to arrive. The next order is sent off on Monday and will be received Wednesday.
Like your style, may have to do this!
