"Ninja Star" tessellation, which I came up with today. The photos show the basic pattern and the tessellated form, against the light and front lit (different sides). Someone may have come up with this already (I'm not well versed in existing patterns) but it's new to me. #origami #tessellation

I haven't made many tessellations but I improvised this one to start 2026. I'm sure someone has done it before, because it's pretty straightforward, but it was satisfying to create something "new"—at least for me—in a genre I haven't explored much. #origami #morigami #tessellation

Either one would've been really cool back in the days when I started doing origami but nowadays there are so many origami dragons that they're just... OK.

I designed a new #origami dragon today. I want to create a really simple one but that's easier said than done. This is neither really complex not really simple, but I like the result. It really looks like a lizard with wings although not able to fly without magical assistance due to the proportions.

Purchased! I love the Noss saga and have been waiting eagerly for this.

An origami group I belong to challenged us to design models based on an 8x8 pleated grid. So far (since last Wednesday) I have a Corgi, a guacamaya, a cross, and a dragon. #origami

"As epic as it is queer" and sure to be banned in conservative libraries sooner or later; I can't wait to read this latest installment in the series!

The saga continues! I look forward to reading it.
