The US cannot manufacture the ammunition faster than it either uses them if they end up making it to the front line, or until Iran destroys them.

No ammunition means all of the US's power goes to zero, not just in the middle, but as a consequence of this open wound, worldwide.

Let me put it this way.

Iran knows the US cannot afford to lose the war in the middle east and will keep reinforcing its positions with fuel and ammunition.

So it's going to set the temperature on medium and keep the tempo like this, targeting all of its supplies, forcing it to resupply.

No one has ever come after the US's logistics. It's just considered too great of a target. It's the US's biggest strength, but if you can destroy it or disable it, it turns into the US's biggest weakness.

It has shot down 3 F-15Es. While these are plentiful, just one of them is magnitudes more expensive than all of the TELs supposedly destroyed.
It has very likely shot down a B-2 bomber (notice how they don't speak of sending them to Iran, only B-1Bs which launch missiles).

Now two of those radars and an even more expensive and rare AN/FPS-132 (only 6 made) have been destroyed in just the first 3 days of the war.

Iran has also downed 10% of the total MQ-9 fleet.
