I’m hearing so many death news from folks, even the death of a family friend. I’ve been a mess since the morning.

I would be there if I wasn’t in Amsterdam. Not in the hotel that burned down, but still. I would be hearing the screams of all the children who burned alive or suffocated to death, who were there just to rest for a few days during their winter break.

I’m not ok.

My heart goes out to those involved in the Grand Kartal fire, and the many, many deaths that have occured as a result of negligence.
