Is culture vulture the same as anti-black? I know it’s non-productive for us as a community but I never saw his jumps from culture to culture as evidence of anti-blackness but more as a need to maintain relevance and longevity in his career.

I remember being disappointed by it too now. Him and Da baby made the same mistake of alienating their main supporters so when they experienced their controversies they didn’t have their core fan base to really insulate them from getting cancelled.

I can see that. But, and this is a genuine question, was Drake ever anti black? I know he’s been all over the place recently. But i always remember, especially in the beginning of his career him showing a lot of love to black culture and black women.

We can say it’s not as well known because Drake said Kendrick beat his wife in the song the same way Kendrick called him a pedophile. If we are canceling on the basis of being an abuser let’s cancel both of them.

I was referring to the recent lawsuits. But taking Bella on a date and txting MBB was inappropriate but I don’t think it classifies him as an abuser. Hip Hop/black men never cared about men actually sleeping with underage girls if they did they would have cancelled Boston Richie and Tyga for it.
