If anyone has any suggestions for other European countries I'd be happy to hear them. Needs to be LGBTQ (especially trans) friendly, and ideally warmer, dryer and cheaper than the UK, and have grc/infosec jobs going. And allow pet snakes (ball pythons and hognoses) of course.

Had some kind of bad news today. Apparently my job might be moved, so unless I want to move with it, I might be made redundant. The redundancy pay would barely be enough to pay for a move to Europe. Been looking at Spain. But I wouldn't be able to bring my needles cause they're banned there.

Any updates on how it went?

Well that's a new one. Bluesky labeled my pics from yesterday's needle play session as self harm. Hilarious considering that needle play like that is in many ways lower risk than impact play.

Not sure what the nhs process is like. I would think it's roughly the same. The NHS probably just takes a lot longer.

I got mine privately (through work). It's not that bad a process. There's some questionnaires to fill out at the start, for you and ideally a parent or relative who knew you as a kid. After that it's just a meeting that lasts about an hour. Was actually a lot easier than I thought
