I do think 1 reason why so many voters are apathetic & non-participating is more people WANT these things that both parties have said are “too extreme”.
Do you know what % in your state don’t vote? May be more support than you think in that group.

Well if not now, when the majority of people range from disappointed to disgusted to disengaged, then when? Now seems like a perfect time to try some radical changes.

During primaries, candidates speak to Party voters and it’s when proposed needed changes are offered to THOSE voters. General elections is when the messaging is for a wider audience of independent voters and even non-trump republicans.

Quite the contrary: Party primaries is exactly when messaging like this is appropriate & best delivered. It’s when she runs as THE candidate against a Repub. that she must focus on positive Dem. Party values, strengths & compare ‘em to cruelty-focused non-policy positions of GOP.

Maybe because I’m not in/of the state but I took it as a larger message about the Party vs just regarding the local state primary election. I’m in WA and was introduced to her message via my son who lives in another unrelated state. Her message is resonating all across the country.

Not calling out democrat politicians who are failing us is exactly how we have lost people to MAGA and/or third parties or staying home every election. We cannot be just an opposing CULT/team - We have to be REAL and call out our representatives when they are WRONG or ineffective in representing us

There are democrats I am very proud of. BUT if we don’t call a fail a fail we are NO BETTER than MAGA. Elected Democrats must do what we elect them to do- must STOP playing by rules and etiquette long ago abandoned by the GOP!
