That energy in all forms (food, oil, sun,...) needs to be available for us to survive, reproduce and create structures and culture. Even then in the long term entropy (disorder) wins out, heat dissipates and structures crumble, according to the 2nd law of thermodynamics.

Physics seems to say energy is essential to postpone entropy, for a while.

That's a silly argument. The NHS has buildings it chose to pay for as it goes along instead of up front. Nothing to do with paying salaries of medical staff.

But it also communicates that just knowing someone is autistic only gives you a limited handle on what strengths, weaknesses and blindspots they might have, because the spectrum is so wide.

I checked and it is actually LibreOffice that I use, I misremenbered. A little bit of a learning curve if you are used to MS Office, but close enough to figure it out. I use its equivalents of Word, Powerpoint and Excel.
