The school board was the testing ground for the fall of our democracy A few years ago, a colleague asked me what I believed to be the “endgame” for all the chaos we had witnessed in America’s school boards.

Seems like a good time to reiterate pieces of my Feb. column:

It isn’t normal for a president to repeatedly threaten the use of military force against American citizens. Treating the National Guard as a political pawn disrespects those who serve and undermines public trust in our military.

There are about 3000 belugas that congregate every year at the mouth of the Churchill river where it empties into Hudson Bay. It’s always such a treat to see them, especially on such a beautiful day. 🌿🦊🐳
