"Perhaps. Maybe we should ask him before we do anything. Learn the histories before we reenact them."

"Sure we can! We just make it like the humans do with their training with armor and swords and things. What's the word...non-lethal? I think..."

"Best still, how about acting it out? We could bring those stories to life!"

"And what we were like back then, too! That's a good idea!"

Seasmoke chuckles.

"I think we could all use some reinforcing for each other."

"Might as well keep you awake if I don't happen to fall asleep during the studies. Or start daydreaming."

Seasmoke laughs along with her, but he's completely serious with daydreaming.

"Perhaps I could join you in that? I do need to read up myself."

"I hear it's because they had dragon-riding in their blood...but you make me question that."

"They're mostly around Claw Isle, I believe, but yes, they're Valyrian."

"Keep your head up. There are only so many eggs around. I like to think the inclusion of Velaryons as dragon riders helps some."

Seasmoke leaned back while looking at her.

"Perhaps one of the current generation will marry House Celtigar."

"It's the flying. Always exciting, but he does go for a long time."

Seasmoke shrugs his shoulders as he rests beside her, just taking his breath.

"You still haven't had a rider since Alysanne? A shame. If only the Valyrians used our elders instead of always hatching new ones."

It was just Seasmoke being cheeky, like he always is, coming in to rest after a long flight with Laenor. Indeed, he always felt tired after those flights, even though all of them were good.
