Thank you for that. It’s perversely helpful to know that the climate being fostered by the admin-elect isn’t just degrading my own daily well-being. I too receive healthcare through the VA and not because I’m weak—because that was the contract.
Hang in there and keep banging the drum.
I proudly went all in on the federal government when I chose to serve over 20 years in uniform. Every day I wake up now, I have to hear my healthcare, benefits, and future in the service be tossed around as a political football by a bunch of billionaires.
And that’s a fact.
