-matters.
See, most Spider-Man stories focus on the Responsibility side of the moto, but I'd want this one to really hone in on Power.
How power dynamics mess with people's head
The politics that come with having power
And most importantly, how power corrupts.
Chief among these people is Nick Fury.
Once upon a time Nick was a normal kid, then he got a lucky break, and another one, and another one after that, he got so many that its made him one of the most powerful men on the planet.
And made him too deluded to know how little that-
None of this his helped by the Supernatural Hazards Investigation and Eradication Logistics Department or S.H.I.E.L.D. for short who also want to eradicate these creatures including Peter.
Until they realize what Peter is, and draft him.
The worst part of all of this, is that over time The Spider starts to influence Peter, he makes Peter worse, and that drives away those who care about him. Possibly leaving him really alone for the first time.

The Spider, he doesn't want to help people, he wants to make sure he's the most powerful, the greatest.
And he's gonna use Peter as a tool to do this, by having Peter fight the other creatures like him and Chameleon.
-holds it too tight. Often times he's straight-up blood lusted. He's too stubborn to accept help, too egotistical to consider that he's wrong.

Peter thinks that with this power he can help people, make sure no one has to suffer through something like he did when Ben died.
But Peter forgot something, The Spider. The Spider has an undirected anger to him, he's selfish, so concerned with protecting what's his that he-
When Peter wakes up, he's changed. He no longer needs his glasses, and he's become more handsome.
(Basically think Ditko Peter to JRSr Peter)
As The Chameleon walks away Peter's limp body begins to twist, his skin turns red and blue his eyes grow and lose their pupils, taking on a sickly green glow.
Then he yells to The Chameleon:
"Hey! How about Round 2?"
The Chameleon doesn't stand a chance.
In this new realm he finds himself face-to-face with a creature.
The creature calls itself The Spider, and he gives Peter a choice, fuse or die.
The Chameleon kills Peter Parker by stepping on his neck until he suffocates. As Peter loses his ability to breathe he feels more powerless than ever, more powerless than when Ben dies, and as he loses consciousness, he's transported.

Peter runs out the house. The Chameleon isn't far behind. And eventually, Peter stumbles, he falls down a hill, breaking a couple bones and bruising his face.
Once The Chameleon see's him he states that Peter's face is too messy for his collection now, he'll find someone else.
Peter stumbles into the living room. And through a lot of screaming he ask the May look-alike what it is. And it stops, and stands, and starts to turn white, its bones creaking and its skin stretching as its face loses all features. Once it's done it says:
"I am the Chameleon."
At first he thinks it's just odd, he walks into the kitchen and set's down his stuff. Then he goes to ask May.
"I thought you were with Ms. Watson today?"
May doesn't answer. Instead she turns her head in a 360 degree motion without moving her body and starts to crawl.
-about normal kids. So ofc here's where it all goes wrong.
One day Peter returns from hanging out with his friends. He thinks he has the house all to himself because his aunt is hanging with Anna Watson. But when he comes into the house he finds her washing dishes.
-already dead. He had died the year before due to a random mugging that Peter had now power to stop.
This has caused him to take more responsibility in his life than most 16 y/os.
So, Peter Parker, relatively normal kid with a relatively normal life. But we don't tell stories-
-isolation this Peter was a little more outgoing. And its lead him to make a lot of friends, he's less focused on being one of the popular kids because he's already content doing nerdy shit like Mario-Kart and DnD with his friends.
Another difference is that his Uncle Ben is-
Alright, for this one we'll have to start at the beginning.
So 15 y/o Peter Parker, nerd with no friends, Midtown Highs professional wallflower, that's not this guy.
This guy, 16 y/o Peter Parker, is still a geek, but instead of having 616 Peter's shyness that lead to social-
Almost ever panel of him outside of the Clark Kent persona gives the impression of "Oh yeah, he KNOWS he's that guy."

One of many reason's I love Golden Age Superman is that he's imbued with so much personality.
There's no reason for him to be doing this little pose but he's such a cocky little shit ofc he'd be doing it.
I LOVE BAD COMICS
I LOVE READING SLOP BECAUSE IT GIVES ME A BETTER APPRECIATION OF THE ART FORM
YOU'RE ALL WEAK
