Can confirm that Aether is the same way. The fight does have forced downtime for melee if they are filling a ranged role. Or people are just adhering to an unwritten rule that 2 melee must be in every party or Armageddon happens

Yup. Almost 2 years of applying for work that i could realistically do, waking up almost every day to submit applications on job search websites, filing in website required questionnaires about work policy immediately after submitting the application, you name it i went through it

As someone who went through the exact same thing for almost 2 years before finally landing a job: Keep going. It'll happen eventually

Damn i finally got the remake of Silent Hill 2 and the game is fantastic right now. Music is aces and i'm genuinely surprised on how good the audio design for it is. Unless Akira Yamaoka also did the audio design for the remake, in which case it's less surprising lmao
