I've know Mark Beatty, the owner, since 2004. Good man. Gives discounts for pull list. I get 20% because more than 35 a month. I go to his Lincoln Square shop but he's got 3 locations. Good discounts, back issues, and packaged comics that are great.

I told Stephanie who was working 3 customers asked me questions thinking I worked there. Then a 4th happened in front of her thinking we were just bagging and boarding comics for sale.

I'm such a nerd who buys so much weekly and knows the staff because I've been going to the same shop since 2004 (26 years) that customers thought I worked there. And I just helped out and pointed people to what they were after. 😆

Just left Dark Tower Comics (Lincoln Square location) and this is what a months worth of books looks like for me. $384 with 20% discount plus I grabbed the X-Men United short box and a Cyberpunk manga for a friend. BTW my shop saved Nectar #1 cover A and the Marvel Team-Up Todd McFarlane cover!
