Well, we made it back to mainland Spain treating ourselves to a hotel for the night. We have such luxuries as our own shower and toilet that we get to use ALL to ourselves!! Oh and a bed that we didn’t have to make.

So far it’s taken us an hour and a half and we’re not even at the Moroccan customs yet!! Leaving Morocco to go into Spain via Ceuta. Ferry back to the mainland tomorrow.

I had to have some glucose yesterday after my swim though. I was a bit wobbly.

I hate being type 2. The problem is I like food. That being said, my levels aren’t terrible. Like 5.8-6.2 in the morning and they go up to about 11 when I’ve eaten then go back down to about 7 within 2 hours. My dad got his bloods done and his levels were 22!!

Today is Saturday which means we’re two thirds through our holiday. We’re driving up north in Morocconto where we stayed the other day before driving over to border with Ceuta and getting the ferry back from there. Can’t say we’re looking forward to that border crossing though.

If it helps, I set the length of the pool wrong today on my swim and couldn’t work out why I was more tired than usual and why it was taking longer. The pool is 25m not 20m so the 50 lengths I did was 1,250m and not 1,000km.

I am absolutely gutted. An IBM z50 Workpad showed up on eBay so I sent the seller a message to see if they could delay shipping until I got home, however in the meantime someone bought it already. I’ve wanted one for years!! Le sigh.

The asshat eBay guy had offers on the CPU, so I made two - one £10 cheaper and one £5. Both got rejected. Fine. Said he'd send the card on Saturday, didn't happen. Got a notification on Tuesday he'd shipped it. He hadn't - just generated a label. I don't get why people do crap like this. So annoying
