When Bessent's talking Trump up to the press, you can tell he hates having to spew that BS because he knows it's wrong but he doesn't have a choice. He might bail once he gets sick enough of it.

Trump made sure to get rid of anybody who could or would say No to him. Now there's just the crazies. He learned his lesson in his first term. Now he does what he wants and everybody has to say "Wow, sir, that's great!" or else.

If nothing is done to stop it, Trump will get us to a point where we're too weak to defend ourselves and then announce that the only way to survive is to allow our country to be taken over by Russia.

Yup. Trump only gave him the job because he knows Rubio is in over his head. Trump HATES Rubio and can't wait to fire him publicly. He'll badmouth him for a few weeks first and make him grovel.

Unfortunately the administration will probably say, if Trump says you're fired, then you're fired, get out. And the MAGA Congress and Supreme Court will back him up. Laws don't apply to Trump.

I heard her speech and she didn't say one single political thing. She just asked Trump to show mercy to those who are scared right now. That was it.

Probably true, but their ratings have been terrible for years. Nobody cares about the show any more, it's old and tired. I remember when it would start in January and be on several times a week. Now it's starting in March.

Harris was hamstrung by Biden's terrible approval ratings. No incumbent administration has EVER been reelected with numbers that bad, and she told voters she wasn't going to change anything Biden was doing. Voters didn't like that. It would have been more unexpected if she had won.

I've been wondering about that. If Elon and Vivek are at each other's throats, who's going to be running things? It won't be Trump. I guess it'll be Vance? Whose total governmental experience is two years in Congress.

I suspect Fetterman will switch parties and become either an independent or a Republican in the next few years.
