My @aardvarkbookclub.bsky.social February picks came yesterday. I want to drop everything and pick both of these up. I think I’m going to focus on my Aardvark back list in April to help me catch up on these fabulous books!

I love most of them! The Lions of Fifth Avenue and The Magnolia Palace are probably my favorites.

Fiona Davis is an author who always excites me. I’ve been a fan since her first release, The Dollhouse, and I cannot wait to see what more she comes up with in the future.

And I’m just making this up. I’m using fingering weight yarn on US 3 needles, 111 stitches in the round, six rows for each book. Depending on the length, it will stay a scarf or I’ll turn it into a cowl (my real plan is the cowl but we’ll see!).

Also format:

Audiobooks are in stockinette.
eBooks are in garter.
Physical books are in seed stitch.

Since I am doing a six row repeat, I add a row of Tobacco in the middle of the section when it is a translated book. Reading more translated books is a goal of mine, so I wanted to make it stand out with this scarf.

I thought I’d share all of the yarns I am using for my book tracker scarf and what the colors represent!

It’s my own thing! I picked 9 colors to represent different genres and I am using a different stitch to represent the book’s format.

The colors are making me so happy! Spun Right Round makes some of my most favorite colorways.
