I’m watching melrose place for the first time and I think gen x is medium key hilarious and high key wholesome.

This idea definitely informs my fixation on partiality, obscured, non-linear storytelling. Story telling via images, objects. Tell me the story but hide it. Tell me the truth but through lies. Show me what you are with objects. And on and on.

It is a privilege to be able to tell your truth publicly. A freedom of movement and self affirmation that is complex in ways we are still afraid to discuss. I think about this all the time. It can be so gorgeous and life-giving but also sometimes alienating to witness, too, for some, that can’t.

What about tumblr?
