Conjuring some ethereal bodyscapes with my friend Shelbi. Smokey vibes and rich shadows make me happy.

Maybe in that darkness I can find understanding, but maybe I can also make something that holds power.

Maybe my beautiful monsters can help someone else feel seen, understood. Maybe we can use that power to find strength and fight back against the real villains.

I fear the cruelty of men, but I revel in the blood and darkness, in the profane. Because my queerness, my strangeness, the things that have made me different and other, they are frightening to some.

The monsters I love, they are born from fear, from the dark, from our pain and grief, and the unknown. They are meant to frighten, sure, but also to help us conquer and learn, to face those things inside of us that wake us in a cold sweat.

I've been thinking about monsters. The real ones, they are too real… these greedy, selfish and powerful people that seek to rule through cruelty, through oppression, to manipulate through reactionary and authoritarian means. These are true villains.

Blatantly unconstitutional and not even close. I suspect the judge will end up resigning and it will cost the city. That editorial will be printed in every paper in America now and read in dozens of on air newscasts.
