"Indeed, the foundations of life began with water, and I do feel my calmest when I can be near it," He nodded. Always near the water could the Hydro Dragon find himself at his most tranquil, able to wash away the worries, even for a moment.

Either way, it was just nice to come out and be calmed.

Neuvillette released a soft, almost embarrassed chuckle.

"A law from the Hydro Archon before she disappeared," Was all he would say, because otherwise it would start raining again.

"As long as you're not breaking any of Fontaine's laws, you're fine," He chuckled.

Neuvillette was surprised for a few moments, lavender eyes wide. A soft chuckle left him.

"There's no need for all of that. I'm currently off duty, Sir Kaeya."

"Indeed," He smiled gently.

"Welcome to Fontaine, Sir Kaeya. I am Neuvillette, the Iudex of Fontaine."

"Perhaps they were, but it's most likely resolved now."

The cases he'd overseen lately had been harrowing, but his Melusines had kept up his spirits.

"When the temperatures are not too unforgiving, a sunny day is indeed a good day. I love the rain too, but the sunlight does feel quite pleasant in the spring."

This is why he rarely goes to the desert, he can't handle too much heat and dryness.

"Ah, yes... I imagine the electro archon can cause storms too..." He has to suppress the urge to wrinkle his nose at the thoughts of the Archons, but he's a master of keeping it cool. Maybe.

"I believe so too. Spring is around the corner, too. A wonderful season, not too hot or cold."

"Oh? I suppose that makes sense, though I heard in other nations, they can't quite control the weather like Fontaine's Hydro Dragon."
