For some reason I can't seem to push myself to watch Psychopath Diary ep5. Ep4 was just so cute and funny with all the misunderstandings I'm scared ep5 will have all the drama 😔

Every time I read about banning books, I think of this:

Reading a book with a gay character will not make you gay any more than reading a book about Einstein will make you a genius.
If you're afraid that books might change someone's thinking, you're not afraid of books — you're afraid of thinking.

But seriously tho, seeing all the stuff that's happening in the world today, I feel like kindness no matter how small, can go a long way

The world is unjust and cruel
People feed off of hate and anger like it's some kind of fuel
When sympathy, empathy, and plain respect is hard to find
Maybe, just maybe, if we start treating each other with even a bit of kindness, we can help make things a little better for humankind...

This week felt like such a long week, ngl.

I miss them. Give them back!

I started being regularly published when I was 25. I didn't make my first dollar writing until I was 30. I didn't sell my first novel or screenplay until I was 35. Many of you hadn't even heard of anything I'd written until I was over 40.

You have time. There is no expiration date on writers.

Roommate's joking that I should drink soju more often as it's the fastest she saw me fall asleep. She's now claiming that she just found the cure for my insomnia. 🤣

I'll just stick to beer from now on. The hangover is hitting like 😵

There's apparently a leonid meteor shower tonight but I've been looking up at the night sky and I haven't seen any yet. I did see a plane and some pretty stars tho, I guess I could count that as a win. 😁

Woke up late but I got to eat good udon at the new udon place 😁 I consider today a good day

There's a new udon place near me that has good udon but they're always packed, line to order usually long and you have to wait a bit for an available table. I'm really looking forward to eating there tomorrow tho, that's if I wake up early. 🤞
