I'm so tired of TikTok's algorithm. 😮‍💨
They keep me at 200-300 views every time with both high and low effort videos, sometimes maybe just over 1000 but that's still too low.
And then the "TikTok view jail, buy TikTok promote 🤪" ads.. they know what they're doing 😠
Suppressing my views until I pay 😮‍💨

Are there any game Devs with marketing experience? I have been uploading videos (almost) daily on TikTok but it barely gets 300 views and even less viewers look at my page, and even less download my game and even less still are active players.. 😮‍💨

After a full day at the hospital they found I have a slipped disc.. again. 😮‍💨
I was scared of this, this is now the 3rd time and actually more painful than the 2nd one. The bulge is also much larger.
I'll speak with a spinal specialist soon enough, which will def result in surgery.

Well, it seemed like I almost went into septic shock and I was none the wiser to it...

Had some antibiotics and I'm feeling much better now. 🙂

I have to go to an appointment tomorrow I've been waiting for since about April, an "Urgent Dermatology" appointment.
It seems very urgent when it can wait for over half a year 🥲
Don't get me started on my partner's Cardiology appointment which she's been waiting even longer for 😦

Update 1.6.1 is underway!
Haven't tested it yet but it should stop the bombardment of log in prompts, and not have the ad buttons go in minus time to refresh 🙂

Also putting in the Dark Forest Story Levels in. Forgot how tedious it can be to put all of them together and balance everything🥲 #indiedev

I'm so glad you enjoyed it in general :) It does take a bit of practise to get used to the controls.

For the login issue, I understand that gets in the way from enjoying it and to shut it up only by logging in is not great 🫤
