I don’t want what’s happening in Minnesota to stop until ICE leaves there and every other community. But I do want people to recognize that there’s a race element here. There’s a reason people are treating the protesters of Minnesota as somehow nobler and more patriotic. More "American."

Today, after Sen. George Mitchell's name was discovered in Friday's Epstein emails dump, the Mitchell Scholarship renamed their entire program and website to the US–Ireland Alliance. The board's actions here are heartening in the face of so many mealy-mouthed defenses elsewhere.

I wonder if the New York Times will go after any of the prominent academics in the Epstein files for being rapists as hard as they went after Claudine Gay for being kind of sloppy with citations in her graduate thesis.

If not, why not?
