I guess it was only a matter of time before my usual starter word was the answer!

OK, so a bit more checking of old screenshots vs current tells me that the target scores have been lowered, but actually getting A grades remains largely unrealistic without the pay-to-win rewards pass score boosters.

The change for the number of modifiers needed to reach an A-grade hasn't impacted me AT ALL. I'm 450 power, and the challenge multipliers are the same as before the LUP. In order to level, I'm clearly going to have to buy the Rewards pass. I really don't want to reward poor performance.

I basically have to upgrade to the full year, or pay 1000 silver to get the boost to the rewards multiplier I need in order to score an A-grade. In short - for those of us who only bought Edge of Fate, Ash and Iron is a pay-to-win update.

So one thing you haven't written about - maybe because you bought the full ultimate edition, so you have the Rewards pass unlocked - is that one of the multipliers at the bottom is a boost to the score multiplier for Portal activities. This makes getting an A grade virtually impossible

Yeah, so about the improvements to the power climb... I've literally piled on every difficulty modifier there is, and not only do I get a B+ grade forecast, but I'm only getting a +1 for my troubles? @destiny2team.bungie.net

Also bad, but something that was quickly fixed was the original pinnacle grind from Shadowkeep, where pinnacles dropped at +1, and getting to the maximum base power would have required 80 drops, with perfect RNG, which is roughly what you need to get from 400 to 450

A worse one for me was getting to 320 in Taken King. I never actually managed it - and not for a lack of trying - because the game refused to give me a 320 class item. Forever 29 was solved for solo players thanks to Iron Banner.

I was really hoping that Fireteam power not working on the Conquests was a bug, but it turns out it isn't. In order to gild Conqueror, I'm probably going to need 2 buddies to get to 410 or higher. I can't just get to 415 and use Fireteam power. @destiny2team.bungie.net - what were you thinking?

It's great if you want the Strand weapons. I've had 8 from pinnacles, plus a few more from the extra chests. It's bloody awful if you are trying to power level. No Heavy at all, no Class Item pinnacle...

You can still buy a deepsight from the chest thing at the end of the raid, at least. I assumed it would work like all the others that have the chests at the end. The Mission End timer could do with being made longer, though

Thank you. I was having trouble with this not long ago. it was when I was out and about, and on mobile data. I didn't have trouble with it when I got home, and on WiFi. Will check the new version next time I go out.
