His obit says the 23rd, which would be sometime after this final post. I'm still saddened by his unexpected loss.

Looks like this was his last post. He commented on a few others but according to his obit, he passed away on April 23, which would have been later the day of this post and his final comments.
He is still quite keenly missed.

Alas, this looks to be the last transmission from Texas Vulcan. Some time later in the day he suffered a heart attack and died.
Feels like a friend I should have had but never got to know.
