Thanks, sir! It's an interesting time really. Here, I share a lot more of/about my wanderlust (of the past, prior to my mounting disabilities.) In the past, SO-O-O many people were interested in my/our work of humanity -most often depicted in a chiaroscuro setting. I'm still getting used to it!

"Travel and tell no one, live a true love story and tell no one, live happily and tell no one, people ruin beautiful things." -Kahil Gibran -is here placed on a photo of mine -over a cloudy sky -over one of my favorite, remote wild places. (A desert landscape, a butte, its geologically striped slopes & a lush floodplain below them.) You see, I have too many times seen horrible things happen to numerous of my favorite wild places & wildlife -such that I have become jaded and seldom will share anymore where a location was, in my/our image making. It's become habit. I often feel that if we cannot inherently care deeply for our beautiful & vital places of nature, then we are a grossly overpopulated species. We have lost our belonging to these critical things in my opinion, as a result.

Our largest purple thing! We actually stumbled upon it. It had been held up in a bankruptcy court for two years & only had 35mi on its odometer! Needless to say how quickly we financed it! AND we found it in a social media marketplace!

...and LIFELONG I've been fed up with these pious/patriotic ruses surrounding us & smothering basically wise & good human nature. Yelling loudest? Yeah-h-h you've got severe issues that are effing deeply seated. You need help.

I truly love the unusual nature of our desert plateau, low arc rainbows... They truly are different & a very-very breathtaking sight. Great capture, this!

If more people (especially photography enthusiasts) knew of the INCREDIBLE visual (cultural, historical & geographical) nature of Montreal -it'd be overwhelmed. In all honesty, it's felt like a genuine slice of Europe in North America to me/us. It's a "Yes, again." type of place.

Oh the flash unit/armature are Metz. And the monopod & tripod are Manfrotto; they are WELL worth the cost, and the using of savings to acquire them. We've several clunky, old, temperamental & heavy tripods but I can't yet bring myself to toss 'em 🤔 😆 I cannot believe how often the monopod is used.

The portrait of that little space's biodiversity & its community as being critical to this great big world truly grabs at me within this, such greenery of forests... It always does. *thankyou!*

Here's part of my guitar corner. A cabinet FULL of vinted/aged old 🍷 wines (up to 30+ years in age!) with displays of HO Scale model steam locomotives, included. -Also, part of one of the household's art galleries is visible up top. Guitars visible are a child-sized SG for ease with my aging hands & fingers, a Charvel ProMod SoCal S, an Eastwood Sidejack DLX, an EB-3 bass & LesPaul E1 or something like that!

Happy place looking from old writing desk (Mom's) with chair & the LesPaul Koa Top guitar. Some of the Harry Potter wands collection on their wall display & one of several antique watercolor paintings of Paris, a household era antique wall phone are visible closer up. A walnut finish SG guitar is hanging next to a framed, complete album layout master copy featuring my/our photography- which is above one of our Python habitats on a wooden buffet are all visible in the next room.

Another happy place from more active, able bodied days was this Mamiya 645 medium format film camera with a couple of its lenses & its sizable flash array underneath it, in its travel & storage case. (Yes, all of the gear, negatives, files/drives, prints & stuff are stored in a huge, high temperature fire rated SAFE.)

A sampling of some of the digital camera gear. A favorite carbon fiber monopod & 2 lens filters, a pair of long lenses -one fixed 400mm, and one an equally long zoom lens, fitted with my cherished doubler device stands out in the portrayal here. Two digital SLR bodies & a few (4) of the lenses of the lens collection are also featured. In the back is a GoPro setup, and my huge flash setup/armature. (There's much more equipment nowadays, although it's also entirely stored in a fireproof safe!) We're not wealthy by any means, but we are definitely strategic & disciplined with the purchasing of our dream machines. Savings accounts matter!

*note to self* Taking your post-cancer meds at +30K feet in altitude for a HELLUVA LONG FLIGHT WILL GET you some STRANGE when you get back upon terra firma. My smiles & wonder had to have been infectious to get such a joyous response from RUSSIAN officials.😆 My wheelchair had a full military detail!
