If you take criticism of a thing you like as a personal attack, you need to sit down and have a serious think.

Part of appreciating something is admitting it is not flawless. And it's flaws are not your flaws. You are not a bad person because you like something bad.

Ideal conditions for starting your passion project will never come. You will never feel skilled enough to make it. There will never be a moment where you stop being scared to start. Do it anyway. Do it badly. Do it scared. Just make that thing that’s clawing at the door of your soul; It wants out.

Oh if they’re pre packed and still sealed things are usually safe for up to a few days after the sell by. Only times I don’t eat it is if there’s visible mould or if it’s meat or dairy and it smells bad when I open it. No bad smell = usually g2g

If it’s a “sell by/use by” date then I wouldn’t risk it. A “best before” doesn’t necessarily mean it goes off after the date, just that it’ll be fresher/better eaten before. (Usually on things like eggs, bread and some veg)

So clean and cook as normal, remove any growing eyes & you should be good
